How to unblock your IP from firewall in shared hosting?

What is Firewall?
A firewall is a network security system that prevents unauthorized access to or from a private network by blocking IP.

What happens when your IP is blocked by firewall?
If your IP is blocked by firewall, You can not browse your website from your blocked ip. You cannot even ping, access cPanel, webmail, FTP & WHM.

Why the firewall blocks ip?
The server firewall blocks ip because of incorrect cpanel, webmail, ftp & whm login attempts. Moreover it can also blocks ip for any suspicious behaviour or activity from your ip.

How to Unblock your IP(1st Method)?
1. Login to Dhaka Web Host client panel by your Email and Password.
2. Click Services from your client area.
3. Click Unblock IP under My Products & Services. You will see Manage Firewall.
4. Under Manage Firewall, You will see all of your Hosting Packages. Click the blocked Website Hosting Package.
5. Under Manage Firewall at the left side, click Unblock IP.
6. Click Unblock (If your ip is blocked, You can only see Unblock button at the bottom of the screen with blocking reason)

Temporary Allow IP(2nd method):
If you cannot unblock your IP by 1st method, it seems that you have proxy server and your ip is not being detected by our software.
Please visit www.whatismyip.com to know your real ip and follow the steps below to unblock your ip and add it in our firewall allow list for 7 days.

1. Login to Dhaka Web Host client panel by your Email and Password.
2. Click Services from your client area.
3. Click Unblock IP under My Products & Services. You will see Manage Firewall.
4. Under Manage Firewall, You will see all of your Hosting Packages. Click the blocked Website Hosting Package.
5. Under Manage Firewall at the left side, click Temporary Allow IP.
6. Write your IP address and Allow Reason. Then Click Add Temporary Allow button.

You can also use the 2nd method, if your IP is continuously blocked by our server firewall. But this will keep the ip in our server firewall allow list for 7 days. If you want to add your ip permanently in our server firewall to avoid any block, please provide us the IP blocked reason and your ip address in support ticket.
